Hogle Zoo with Aunt Becca
We got to go to UT this past weekend for Scott's cousin Travis's wedding! We stayed with Becca and got to go to the Hogle Zoo! We had lots of fun with Aunt Becca. She is so sweet to the girls and helped me take care of them. One morning she let me and Scott sleep in while she read books to Whitney for 40 min. We love you, Becca!
Whitney is Two!
Happy Anniversary Dan and Macie
We had the best time at Lagoon together! We got to go on all the rides that we wanted to, some of them more than once! Towards the end of the day Dan and I got sick (motion sickness---it's a Robison thing) and Scott and Macie went on more rides without us, so it worked out alright! A special thanks to Kim for watching our girls for like 18 hours while we were gone! Kim you are an amazing person, the girls had a great time with you. Thanks for being loving and kind. We love you.
Of Chuckers and Chickens . . .
We took the girls to a Chuckers game in IF! The pictures make it look more fun than it really was. The girls were not super interested in the game and kept wanting to swing on the hand rail on the stairs next to us . . . the game was slow and somewhat of a blow -out and we ended up leaving at the bottom of the 4th and the score was something sad . . . 1 to 0 --us losing or something pathetic like that! But I thought the pictures were cute. The weather was beautiful and Scott and I enjoyed being together at the game! The most exciting thing there was the chucker's mascot, that the girls thought was a"Chicken"! and Whit became obsessed with where the chicken was! If she couldn't see it she would say over and over, "Chicken? Daddy? Chicken Daddy?" It was so funny!
Riding a two-wheeler!
On one Monday night after FHE we took the girls out side and decided it was time to take off the training wheels. This is something we should have done for Sam about 2 summers ago, but we never really thought about doing it. Sam caught on right away and after a little help, she took right off and hasn't tipped over since! Kenz is still practing and we put her training wheels back on. The funny thing was that the girls kept saying, "look Mom, I can ride a 2-wheeler!" and it was driving Scott crazy, he kept telling them, "It is just called a bicycle."
Cook-out in our backyard!
For my 28th birthday we had a cook-out in our back yard! I love cook-outs! We ate hotdogs, which are my favorite (I am a classy girl, what can I say . . . ) and then had cake and ice-cream! Scott, Dan, Macie and I played badminton, and we are all fairly terrible at it! We had the best time laughing at each other because we couldn't hit the birdie! It was great! A fun birthday, even if I wasn't happy about turning 28.
