I am so grateful for Samantha. She is a wonderful big sister to her little sisters. While I was trying to make dinner one night, she rounded up her little sisters and sat on the couch to read to them. I was touched by her thoughtfulness and how her simple act of reading to them helped me immensely. They made such a happy and darling trio that I just had to get a picture. I like to remember the tender moments when they are being really sweet to each other.
That's really sweet. She's so thoughtful as are Kenzie and Whit. You guys do such a wonderful job making sure that your girls think of others and are aware of other people's needs. I love that!
I love these pictures- Kenzie and Whit are lucky to have Sam as their big sister. I don't know Chris- I don't think Dan and I can compete with your kids. You are such a wonderful mom!!
I love seeing "the girls" reading together like that. Samantha is an amazing little reader for her age. I love it when she tells me "Nana, I love reading. I'm a bookworm now!"
Upon seeing the first snow this winter, Whitney looked out the window and said, "It's Christmas Time!! Santa must be on him way!"
I said, "Oh Whit, you have choclate on your chin." and she said back to me very seriously, "That's just my beard mom."
Whitney said, "Mom, Santa's favorite people are Jesus and the toothfairy."
This morning as I was waking Kenzie up for school, she opened her eyes and looked at me and said, "3 more days until you have your precious baby, Mom!"----Which I have 11 days until my due date, but having the baby this Saturday would be great! I hope she is right.
On the way home from Bosie . . .We were passing a field of sand and Whitney looked out the window and asked, " Are we in Egypt?"
McKenzie in her prayer . . . " and please bless Aunt Macie will get her hot tub and have lots of babies." Macie has been talking about wanting an out door pool at her house. And Kenzie always prays for her to have a baby. She is so thoughtful and concerned
McKenzie came up the stairs and said, "Hey Dad, What's that smell? (pause) . . . Oh, it's you." (He had been fixing the lawn mower and smelled of Gasoline.)
Whitney was "playing" with Dallas . . . she had his little FOOTBALL and was showing him how to throw it, "Like this, Dallas, back and forth, back and forth." ---While holding the football to his hand--- then she told him, "See? Now you know how to play BASEBALL!" Poor Bubba, that is what you are going to get living with girls!!
