Long Time . . . No Blog

We have been really busy! Great, but busy. I just wanted to give a quick up date on all of us! Scott- Well, the boys made it to state this year and . . . . we WON! That was awesome! We took the whole family over this year, a little crazy, but all in all really fun to be there together. Now that basketball is over, Scott is home TONZ more and we love it. We feel like a real family again, getting to eat dinner together and have an evening home together. Basketball is fun for him to coach, but it is a really big time commitment. Scotty did play a little church ball and we of course watched a lot of MARCH MADNESS! Wish Butler could have pulled it off, the final game was kind of sad . . . ME- Hum. Me. Well, I am LOVING coaching gymnastics at Fuzion Fitness! We are getting ready for our Spring Showcase, here in May. I have decided to also preform a gymnastics routine. I am actually really excited about it. My music is from the movie"Inception" and it is very dramatic, I am almost done making up my routine. I have built a lot of muscle coaching this year . . . I like feeling healthy and strong, but I also feel a little like Popeye . . . I tend to build muscle easily (kind of like a man . . . what ya gonna do?) and I weigh the most I have our whole married life (except for being pregnant . . . ) If my performance goes well, I just may post a video of it . . ha, we'll see. I just love gymnastics! So grateful to be doing it again! Other than that, I am totally looking forward to SUMMER! I can't wait for my kids to be out of school! We have so much fun in the summer together. Plus they are all going to be in my gymnastics classes this summer and continue in the fall . . . their schedules didn't work out for them to be in my classes this year. Samantha- She is 9 1/2 (can't forget the 1/2) and getting very grown up. She loves "babysitting" for us for little stretches of time. She is in 3rd grade and loves school and her teacher and her friends. She has been taking piano lessons this year and is actually really good at it! I think she has a real talent for the piano. She never complains about practicing either, good girl. She is a huge help around the house. She loves to play GAMES, her favorite right now is CLUE. Many nights after we put the rest of the kids to bed, Scott and I will stay up and play a game with her. McKenzie- She is 7 1/2 and getting ready to be baptised this summer! She is still such a little-thing of a girl . . .wearing a size 5/6 and small feet too. She is darling with her curly hair and sweetness. She has been doing dance this year and is very flexible. She has gained so much confidence through dancing. She was really struggling with her self esteem at the first of the school year, but she has come SO FAR. She has a couple of really good friends and loves her teacher at school. She is very happy now. She is so sweet and thoughtful and is always the first one to say, "Mom, what can I do to help?" She is also the first one to obey, when I ask the girls to do something. Whitney- She is 4 1/2 and is really developing her personality and coming into her own. She has also done dance and TaVaci this year. She loves singing the most. She is always singing and dancing around the house. She is very creative and loves to color, draw, and write things-- can do so for hours. Happily. She has a very good imagination and plays pretend anywhere and with anything. She has done pre-school this year as well, but hasn't loved it like she thought she would. She just wants to be home with me. :) So we are not going to send her to Kindergarten this year, she would actually be the youngest in her class, and she has NO desire to go. And we are not doing pre-school again either. . . I am going to teach her at home, a Whitney/Mommy Pre-school. We are both very excited about that idea. Dallas- Dude! He is a year old! :) He started walking at 13 months and I must admit I totally love seeing his little chubby self with his big head just a walking all over the house. Too cute! I love that he is growing up. He is just getting to my favorite baby stage. He is VERY busy and into EVERYTHING!!!! It is like his little motor never stops! He opens all the cupboards and gets everything out and pulls stuff off the shelves and never stops moving . . . .ever. He is also super sweet and snugly too. He snuggles with his lovey and sucks his thumb. He loves to be read to and sung to. His first word and favorite toy is a ball. Loves to roll balls around the house and could throw a ball before he could walk. He is my sweet little man. I adore him. ... That is us in a nut shell. Hopefully more pictures coming soon and a few more details and specific posts about what we are up to.

You and your family are fantastic! I can't believe your kids are growing up so quickly. I think you should definitely post a video of your gymnastics routine; you always were so great at it and it'd be so fun to see the 2011 version. :) Good luck and take care!

I LOVE this! We miss hearing about what's going on in everyone's lives. I have been slightly terrible at posting comments on people's blogs for some time now but I had to comment on this. It was SO fun to hear everything new with you guys. The White's sound like they are doing very very well. Christina...I don't know what to say...YOU AMAZE me! I'm just picturing this Nastia Luikin-esque image of you. You had BETTER post the video. I'm stoked to see you perform! You are a gorgeous gymnast. The girls sound like they are all doing excellent and so happy. I can't wait to get my hands on cute little walking Dallas. What a cutie! Congrats to Scott's team! That's a huge deal! I'm glad you guys have him back though. I can slightly relate...It really was great to read this. We miss you all so very much and can't wait to see everyone in a month and a half!
